Over /Under Betting Explained.
Over /Under Betting Explained. An increasingly popular football fixed odds market is total goals betting, often known as over/under. A ordinarily available over/under bet available in football is over/under 2.5 goals. By using a decimal, however it removes the possibility of a draw, by leaving only two possible outcomes. Several bookmakers like to introduce an extra outcome to the book. Three outcomes are as follows: more than 2 goals; exactly 2 goals; and fewer than 2 goals. Some other bookmakers introduce even more, though this is with a view to increasing their profit margin on the book.
Singles – Betting Explained:
The simplest among all bets is the single betting. With a single bet on a football match, simply one outcome is backed, while the bet can generally either win or lose, even though in Asian handicap, there are other possibilities. Through a simple win/lose single, a range of selection must be successful to achieve a return. An example of typical single match bet might be Liverpool to beat Manchester United at 2/1. That means if Liverpool win, a stack of £10 would realize a profit of £20; and if they draw or lose, the stake will be lost. The singles odds are today generally available for almost any football game.
